Why not ask the doctor that prescribed it to you

  2. John says:

headaches are normal w pregnancy especially in the beginning i did not take any medicine i just rode it out. no mediciine is safe for the baby. when i had a sore throat i just had honey and no medicine. comn. if you cant handle the headache how are you going to handle the pain in the delivery room.

  3. Daybooker says:

Yes. I had my first and only migraine (with vomiting) when I was pregnant with twins. Nothing would work so I was prescribed the BUTALBITAL. I guess it depends on how bad you feel, because I would have taken anything the way I was feeling.

And, this has nothing to do with how you'll handle the delivery. It's a different kind of pain. Good luck and hang in there.

  4. Stevec says:

I am on it now and have been thru all my pregnancies due to migraines since high school. It will not hurt the baby. All my kids are fine. I am now pregnant with my fifth one.

  5. Inquisitor says:

I have suffered from migraines since I was 7. I was given Butalbital during my pregnancy since about the 3 month. I was getting the migraines about 2-3 times a week through out the entire pregnancy. I had a beautiful baby boy Oct 28th.
