My mom is taking the propoxyphene 100w/apap 650 every 8 hrs,but i notice that she is sleeping too much?

She is taking 10mg of vicodin which is strong and if u r not used to taking it it will make you very sleepy, try and have her take half a pill, that would be 5mg and she may tolerate it much better.
hello oh my your poor mom by takeing all that propoxyphene just be carefull that she dont OD and she should cut it down some how old is your mom you know if she is sleep to much maybe you should take her to the docthers and maybe he or she would her a low doses of what is taking i hope this helps out some just keep a watcch on her and talk to her just to see if she a live and not OD any ways have a good day
It takes 2+ weeks to stabilize so of course she's sleeping.
Once she stabilizes, she'll be talkative and active, but she should be resting through the intoxication until it stabilizes.
that is not vicodin- its darvocet in generic form, very mild pain releiver- the apap which is tylenol is the ingredient you dont want to take too much of.
Call a pharmacist. The local CVS or Rite Aide will be more than happy to answer this for you
