I dont want to wake still feeling tired. How many hours prior to my waking time should I take them

I've been having trouble sleeping due to stress lately, so I've been taking sleep aids (OTC, not prescription). But tonight I have horrible back pain, so I'm thinking about taking some Ibuprofen too, but I wonder if it would be back to take them at the same time.

I am in the navy and I am taking Simply Sleep which are sleeping pills. I am having trouble sleeping so I am taking them. But will I get into trouble for taking them Additional Details:I bought them over the counter and Walgreens. It says its from the makers of Tylenol.
