I take ultracet for a broken elbow and finger. I am going for a drug test for job will it show?

I am in the process of going through a drug test for a job. I take ultracet for a broken finger and elbow. Will Ultracet show as an opiate

  1. Olivia says:

It's not an opiate. It's a good pain killer, though.

And if you're tested for drugs and you have a legitimate prescription for it – it's ok.

  2. Ceshiremoon says:

I agree with Lisa. Since its a prescription you don't have to worry.

  3. Zmhoffman says:

    Hi.

Ultracet is a well known analgesic that combines two analgesics (tramadol 37.5 mg and acetaminophen 325 mg). So, if you have a prescription with you, that shouldn't be a problem.

However, if you DO NOT have a prescription, you may be in trouble. as Tramadol (component of Ultracet) abuse is becoming more and more popular, mainly because in most countries (including USA), tramadol is the only available non-scheduled opiate!
